President: Erik Vose

Erik received his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California. Erik currently manages his chiropractic office and is an adjunct faculty at Bay State College in Boston. Erik’s best memories of Jim are the times they spent playing and recording music using a four track device while living in Boston.

Vice-President: Ryan King

Ryan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Renssselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y. After spending time in Colorado and North Carolina, Ryan has relocated to New England and works in the aerospace industry. Ryan also is a musician and likes to spend time playing percussion, recording music and pretending he knows how to play guitar. Ryan's favorite memories of Jim usually involved philosophical discussions and witnessing Jim's skillful dealings with authoritative figures.

Secretary/Treasurer: Michael Crounse

Michael received his Bachelor of Civil and Environmental Engineering from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. Trained as a Civil Engineer, Michael is an expert in land planning and development and has environmental engineering experience as well. Mike will forever be indebted to Jim for immortalizing him with the song “Big Bad Crounse” which details Mike’s ups and downs while living with Jim in Somerville.

Clerk: Whitney (Volz) Bourgeois

Whitney received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in elementary education from Endicott College in Beverly, MA. Her experience as a corporate events planner made her a natural at organizing many facets of the RDF’s Waterfront Dream Festival. Whitney will always remember fun times spent with Jim in Newport, and playing “the embarassment game”.


Director of Affairs: Adam Ledwell

Adam graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University and earned a commission as an officer in the Army National Guard through ROTC. Adam was trained as a Black Hawk helicopter pilot at Ft. Rucker, Alabama and competed two successful tours of duty in Bosnia and Iraq before retiring from the Army in 2006. Adam currently works as a systems engineer with Schneider Electric and travels the world designing and building data centers for the U.S. Military.
